We have funds available for those who need financial assistance in the form of a bursary:
These monies originate in part from the family of former SSASS student Phil Gibbs. Phil’s family donated them in his memory. As well, SSASS instructor Nina Gretzmacher contributed funds from a scholarship as a way to pass on her passion for the sport.
One of our instructors is a retiree of Shell Canada Limited and through him we have received a $1000 grant to be used for bursaries under Shell Canada’s Community Service Fund.
Individuals may apply for a bursary using the application show below. Application does not guarantee funding but a completed application will assist the committee in determining financial need and suitability.
